• Mission: Assist clients with their day-to-day accounting needs and routine accounting activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Tasks: Process basic day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, reconciliations, and payroll support.
• Record Management: Maintain and organize accounting records and files.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, 1099s, and simple tax filings.
• Expense Tracking: Manage the tracking of expenses, invoices, and reimbursements.
• Team Communication: Communicate with team members regarding task progress and ask necessary questions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, or 150 credit hours. Entry-level.
• Experience: Completion of intermediate accounting course(s) by time of internship. Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Exemplary communication and organizational skills. Strong desire to learn and develop professionally. Motivated to serve clients and a desire to be a team player.
• Bonus: Finance majors will be considered.
