Job Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Classified Cyber Solutions Developer to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in the field of cyber security.

Essential Duties:

• Develop advanced research projects in highly specialized areas of computer network operations (CNO).
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the development of multiple projects that impact the organization’s portfolio and suite of capabilities.
• Serve as a vulnerability researcher and hardware/software developer, providing expertise to the customer while developing, customizing, and modifying tools.
• Work on unusually complex technical problems, delivering highly creative and ingenious results.
• Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development to operational utilization, applying advanced technical principles, techniques, theories, and concepts.
• Assist military customers by applying skills and knowledge to create custom wireless capabilities, and vet and evaluate emerging tools and technologies.
• Develop a deep level of knowledge on emerging technologies, their vulnerabilities, and utilization potential in support of the customer.
• Utilize software and computer language skills to develop programs that meet technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with customers to solve complex problems in computer network exploitation, reverse engineering, digital network intelligence, dataflow, computer forensics, and signals intelligence (SIGINT) development.
• Work under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and targets.
• Initiate and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
• Serve as an organizational spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs.
• Act as an advisor to the organization and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
• Provide support for meetings, conferences, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), program acquisition/commodity group, working group teams, and semi-annual programmatic reviews, as applicable.
• Be a senior subject matter expert in applying software engineering principles to test, evaluate, and/or modify developed software applications for quality assurance, effectiveness, and inter-operability.

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrated detailed knowledge and experience in vulnerability research (VR), reverse engineering (RE), hardware/software development, computer networking, wireless technologies, information system configuration management, and Linux and Windows system engineering.
• Proficiency in assembly language(s) and one or more programming languages (C/C++/Java) with specific expertise in kernel development, device driver development, network//socket programming, and embedded systems development.
• Fluency in one or more scripting languages (Python/Perl/Ruby/etc.).
• Experience with hardware and software reverse engineering design and tools (FPGA/VHDL/PCB/SDR); debugging tools (Ghidra/etc.).
• Knowledge of software vulnerability analysis and exploitation.
• Extensive knowledge in intrusion detection systems, firewalls, VPN appliances, routers, switches; and expertise in the design, implementation, and execution of network and routing protocols.
• TS/SCI clearance; ability to pass CI polygraph.

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience working with/within Intelligence and Special Operations communities.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules to provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader.
