Job Description – Claims Intern:
This is a full-time, paid internship lasting approximately 10 weeks, with the first two weeks spent in Owatonna, MN, for training. The intern will work in the Indianapolis, IN, office.
Responsibilities:
• Support Claims personnel in Auto, Liability, Property, and Workers’ Compensation offices with telephone coverage and incoming/outgoing correspondence, as directed.
• Facilitate client interactions regarding claim processing, as directed.
• Collaborate with and inform supervisors and teammates about progress and issues related to assigned work.
• Work with other interns and recent college graduates to help Federated clients.
• Participate in office and team meetings and training sessions.
• Complete a presentation outlining the internship experience for P&C Claims leadership at the end of the internship.
