What You Will Do:

  • Perform detailed engineering design work, ensuring compliance with both client specifications and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documents, plans, and reports, proficiently utilizing Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software.
  • Execute data entry tasks into various essential platforms.
  • Organize and diligently maintain crucial project files, ensuring accessibility and order.
  • Conduct precise calculations and analysis to support project objectives.
  • Prepare accurate design calculations, leveraging appropriate engineering tools and specialized software.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates and perform insightful analysis of material costs.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Academic Standing: Completion of at least two years of engineering coursework at an ABET accredited institution.
  • Educational Pursuit: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Time Management: Demonstrated ability to execute tasks efficiently and effectively within time-sensitive deliverable schedules.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities, essential for team collaboration and reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Capable of planning and organizing daily tasks effectively to ensure productivity and meet deadlines.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $20 – $25 an hour

The actual base pay for this position is influenced by various factors, including the candidate’s education, prior experience, and specific skills. While a range is provided, Milhouse encourages applications from candidates whose salary expectations may fall outside this range, as we are always keen to tailor roles to exceptional talent.
