Paralegal | Wagstaff Law Firm

The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role with remote flexibility at Wagstaff Law Firm. The firm is a national leader in Personal Injury and Mass Tort litigation, specializing in cases involving defective products and medications. This role is crucial for supporting attorneys in complex mass tort cases, directly contributing to advocating for individuals harmed and holding manufacturers accountable through collective strength.

• Mission: Support attorneys in managing complex mass tort cases from intake through trial, ensuring justice for individuals harmed by faulty products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Manage all aspects of litigation preparation, including drafting and filing pleadings, discovery, and subpoenas.
• Timeline Coordination: Coordinate case timelines, deadlines, and calendaring activities.
• Information Summarization: Conduct legal research and summarize medical records and other case-related documents.
• File Organization: Organize and maintain physical and digital case files with meticulous attention to detail.
• Client & Trial Support: Facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, and medical providers, and assist with deposition and trial preparation, including in-court assistance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced professional with a strong understanding of civil procedure and the litigation process. Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, with required Mass Tort experience.
• Skills: Exceptional research and writing capabilities; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks independently; Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
• Bonus: Litigation experience; Trial experience; Experience in sexual assault or sensitive trauma-related cases; Ability to work overtime if needed.
