Your Impact & Responsibilities
As a Civil Engineering Intern or Entry-Level Engineer at Lochner, you will play a crucial role in our projects, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to impactful infrastructure solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Perform engineering design tasks, specifically focusing on roadway and bridge design, under the direct guidance and supervision of an experienced Project Manager.
- Conduct routine bridge inspections, contributing to the safety and longevity of critical infrastructure.
- Efficiently manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance throughout project lifecycles.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about civil engineering and eager to make a difference:
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering or actively pursuing your BS in Civil Engineering.
- 0-2 years of professional experience, making this an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or students seeking an internship.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or the demonstrated ability to obtain one within 6 months from the date of your full-time hire.
- This specific recruitment is for our 2026 Summer Internship program.
