Job description
This job description is for a Civil Engineering Internship at Barge Design Solutions, Inc.
• Career Area: Engineering – Civil
• Location: Gwinnett, GA
• Number of Positions: 1
• Schedule: This is a full-time (40 hours per week), in-person paid internship for Summer 2026.
What We’re Looking For:
The company is seeking a hard-working and dedicated college student looking to gain valuable work experience in Civil Engineering, learn from mentors, and contribute to the team.
Experience Gained: Interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in:
• Collaborating with team members on new ideas and innovations.
• Supporting Engineers in completing various project deliverables.
• Utilizing industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation.
• Preparation of construction documents.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from an accredited university.
• Major: Civil Engineering.
• Possess a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
Additional Details:
• This is a paid internship.
• The work opportunity is in-person.
• Interns are not eligible for company benefits.
