Job Description: Civil Engineering Intern

Title: Civil Engineering Intern
Location: Winter Park, FL
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Hours: 20+ hours
Compensation: $22.50-25 per hour
Post-Graduation Opportunity: Potential for full-time employment upon graduation

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and drafting of civil work drawings for subdivisions, industrial and commercial projects using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Prepare and deliver submittals to various Counties, Municipalities and agencies as required.
• Develop due diligence reports and conduct preliminary site analyses.
• Maintain client communications and foster strong client relationships.
• Gain practical experience in civil engineering and land development processes.

Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering Major
• GPA: Minimum 3.0
Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Task-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g., Monday.com)
• Basic understanding of land development planning
