The City Explorer Academy offers a unique, structured training program designed to cultivate talent in the rapidly evolving fields of livestreaming, video production, content creation, and digital marketing. This internship is specifically crafted for individuals eager to develop practical skills in live video broadcasting and compelling content development.

Programme Fee

Participation in the City Explorer Academy requires a one-time programme fee. This fee contributes to various essential components of the internship, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive learning experience. It covers:

• Structured training sessions
• Mentorship from industry professionals
• Access to necessary equipment
• Sponsored travel during the second phase of the programme (for eligible interns)
• Continuous access to City Explorer’s livestreaming platform throughout the internship duration

Internship Duration Options

Candidates can choose from two distinct internship durations:

• 3-month internship: This option includes the full 3-month Academy training period, providing a solid foundation in core skills.
• 4 to 6-month internship: This extended option encompasses the initial 3-month Academy training, followed by potential selection for international livestream assignments for high-performing participants.

Training Structure during the First 3 Months

The initial three months are dedicated to intensive online training, divided into three core units:

• Unit 1: Live Streaming and Video Content – Focuses on the technical and practical aspects of live broadcasting and video production.
• Unit 2: Creative Content Creation – Develops skills in ideation, storytelling, and producing engaging content formats.
• Unit 3: Social Media and Marketing – Covers strategies for promoting content, engaging audiences, and understanding digital marketing principles.

During this period, interns will be actively involved in:

• Attending online training sessions
• Completing practical assessments to reinforce learning
• Livestreaming a minimum of 5 hours per week, gaining valuable hands-on experience
• Adhering to City Explorer’s content guidelines and best practices
• Participating in collaborative content planning activities

International Assignments (for 4 to 6-month interns)

Interns who opt for the 4 to 6-month route and successfully demonstrate proficiency during the initial 3-month training may be selected for exciting international livestream assignments. For these assignments, City Explorer will generously cover all associated expenses, including:

• Travel costs
• Accommodation
• Meals

Furthermore, selected interns will receive additional coaching to effectively apply their newly acquired skills in diverse, real-world international environments, enhancing their professional development and global exposure.
