Job Description: Catering Intern

This internship position offers the opportunity to work alongside Sales and Catering Managers. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the catering business, including:

Communication:
• Handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries related to catering orders.
• Creating proposals and contracts for clients.
• Typing correspondence, memos, and meeting minutes.

Scheduling:
• Entering reservations and accounts into systems.
• Scheduling meetings.

Event Preparation:
• Creating banquet event orders with event details.
• Updating and redesigning menus.
• Creating signage, readerboards, and advertisement flyers for events.

Database Management:
• Maintaining and updating the catering order database and client contact information.

Other Duties:
• Preparing invoices, quotes, and other documents related to catering services.

Overall, this internship will provide the intern with a comprehensive understanding of the catering industry and valuable experience in customer service, event management, and administrative tasks.
