Category Manager – POS Data | Molson Coors Beverage Company

The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Molson Coors Beverage Company, located in Milwaukee, WI. Molson Coors is transforming the beverage industry with its diverse portfolio of brands. This role is crucial for leading the POS Data team, which ensures the accuracy and functionality of US POS sourcing and ordering systems, directly supporting the company’s operational excellence and strategic goals.

The TL;DR

• Location: Hybrid – Milwaukee, WI
• Pay: $111900–$146900 yearly + 15% target short term incentive
• Team: POS Merchandise Procurement team, reports to Sr. Director Indirect Procurement
• Mission: Lead the POS Data team to support US POS sourcing and ordering systems, ensuring data integrity and effective reporting.
• Tech Stack: PowerBI, Tableau, JIRA, SAP, XML

What You’ll Actually Do
People Management: Manage and develop a Procurement Team POS Data Analyst, actively managing performance, career development, and driving team and department culture consistent with Molson Coors’ values.
System Leadership: Lead the POS Data team in supporting US POS sourcing and ordering systems, understanding software feeds and integration, and applying knowledge of software architecture and applications.
Data & Reporting: Develop reporting, manage distributor licensing agreements, calculate cost savings, maintain reports and dashboards within PowerBI and Tableau, and ensure strong attention to data integrity, validation, and cleansing.
Technical Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify requirements and convert them into clear technical requirements, enabling developers to deliver impactful system enhancements.
System Testing & Oversight: Review, understand, and contribute to technology platform requirements, particularly gathering information for enhancement scope, and conduct testing with the ability to understand and assess impacts across multiple systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Managerial level with a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (Manufacturing, Fulfillment, and Inventory Control) and modern financial systems like SAP, specifically the association between goods receipts, inventory adjustments, and accounts payable.
• Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience, including people management, leading internal teams, and working directly with suppliers, fulfillment vendors, and external IT partners/vendors; expert in category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and contract negotiation skills.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail with a deep understanding of data integrity, including data validation and cleansing practices; ability to read and manipulate XML files; comfortable with basic database operations (queries, updating tables, data debugging); strong customer service orientation with experience training end users.
• Bonus: MBA or Masters preferred; SAP experience is desired; experience in beverage or fast-moving consumer goods in a multi-national environment; strong understanding of eCommerce and Marketplace offerings, including how these platforms operate and manage transactions and billings.
