Job Description: Category Management Associate

This position supports the Category Management and Decision Support team at Cargill. The Associate will be responsible for:

Database management: Maintaining and organizing data within Cargill’s systems.
Data extracts and analysis: Pulling and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns.
Generating insights and recommendations: Using data analysis to provide strategic recommendations to internal and external customers.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Apply theoretical job knowledge to sell directly to customers.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Create and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Identify and contact potential customers to build relationships and generate sales.
• Independently handle sophisticated clerical, administrative, technical, and customer support issues.
• Build reports and participate in projects as assigned.

This is a hybrid role, based in Rogers, Arkansas.

Requirements

• Right to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program (graduation between December 2024 and May 2025).
• Experience with data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to Rogers, AR.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Advanced skills in database, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
