Job Functions

As a Cashier at Love’s, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to a positive customer experience and efficient store operations:

• Customer Service: Assist customers with finding items, answer questions about products and services, and address their needs promptly and courteously.
• Cash Register Operations: Accurately complete customer transactions, balance your cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while strictly adhering to all state and local laws.
• Food Safety: Utilize various methods and technology to ensure the proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps. This also includes completing trash runs.
• Cross-Training & Development: Potential opportunities for cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and even leadership roles, offering diverse career pathways.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds, and the ability to work comfortably in various temperatures.
