• Mission: This person solves the problem of ensuring all customers receive prompt and courteous service, accurate transaction processing, proper food safety, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment within Love’s Travel Stops.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Engage with customers to assist them in finding items, provide accurate answers to their questions regarding products and services, and address all their needs promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience.
• Cash Register Operations: Accurately complete all customer transactions, meticulously balance your cash register at the end of shifts, and actively identify and offer additional sales opportunities, all while strictly adhering to every state and local law.
• Food Safety: Implement and utilize various methods and technological tools to ensure the proper food safety conditions of all fresh food and deli products, safeguarding customer health and meeting regulatory standards.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Consistently maintain the cleanliness of your direct working area, the sales floor, all restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, actively contributing to a pleasant and hygienic environment for all visitors, which includes completing regular trash runs.
• Cross-Training & Development: Pursue potential opportunities for cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and even leadership roles, allowing for diverse career pathways and skill expansion within the company.
