Case Manager in Training | Morgan & Morgan, P.A.

The TL;DR

• Mission: To manage law firm operations by carrying out administrative services and supporting the legal team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client File Management: Assist case managers and attorneys with organizing, filing, and maintaining client files, managing up to 100+ cases.
• Document Collection: Collect check requests for medical records, accident reports, driving records, and vehicle ownership, then submit them for processing.
• Correspondence Preparation: Prepare and send turndowns, no representation letters, contracts, multi-party combo letters, and demand letters.
• Document Duplication & Mail: Copy necessary documents and demand packages, complete certified mail cards, and dispatch documents and cost checks.
• General Office Support: Perform routine office duties including typing, operating office machines, sorting mail, and creating new and existing client folders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level career; foundational knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Experience: Extensive computer and database expertise; typing proficiency of at least 35 words per minute.
• Skills: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; great written and communication skills.
• Bonus: Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; 1 year of experience in the legal field preferred.
