As a Case Manager, you play a key role in this fight, directly assisting attorneys in developing settlements, preparing essential documents, and maintaining organized case files to advocate for consumer rights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Communication: Engage daily with existing and potential clients through both telephone calls and in-person interactions, providing empathetic support and gathering vital case information.
• Medical Record Coordination: Proactively order medical records from various providers and maintain consistent communication with clients and healthcare providers throughout the duration of treatment.
• Evidence Gathering: Obtain all necessary documents and information required to robustly support client injury claims and establish liability positions.
• Demand Package Creation: Under the direct supervision of an attorney, prepare comprehensive demand packages and assemble all supporting documentation for submission to insurance carriers.
• Case Lifecycle Management: Oversee and manage individual case files from their initial intake through to final closing, ensuring all procedures are followed under the direction of an attorney.
• Team Collaboration: Work directly and collaboratively with multiple coworkers who are involved in the overall management and support of case files, fostering a cohesive team environment.
• Attorney Support: Interact regularly with attorneys, providing case synopses and presenting critical information as required to facilitate strategic decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a professional with a solid understanding of personal injury case management and legal procedures, with a Bachelor’s degree being preferred.
• Experience: Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience working specifically as an insurance adjuster or pre-litigation paralegal. Prior experience directly as a Personal Injury Case Manager is highly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
• Skills: Critical skills for this role include exceptional organizational abilities to manage a varied and demanding caseload, strong writing and communication skills for interacting with clients, providers, and carriers, and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential, along with a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute. The ability to proactively interact, multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision is also required.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree is a preferred qualification for this position. Prior experience serving specifically as a Personal Injury Case Manager is also strongly preferred.
