As a Case Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting attorneys and clients, ensuring cases are well-prepared and managed, directly contributing to the firm’s commitment to its clients.

• Mission: To assist attorneys in developing settlements, preparing necessary documents, and managing case files from intake to closing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client and Provider Engagement: Interact daily with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person, and communicate with medical providers during the course of client treatment.
• Documentation Management: Order medical records from providers and obtain all documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions.
• Case Progression Coordination: Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, while maintaining organized case files.
• Legal Demand Preparation: Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble supporting documentation for submission to carriers, working under the direct supervision of an attorney.
• Case Lifecycle Management: Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney, including interacting with attorneys and presenting case synopses when required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional experience assisting attorneys or managing insurance claims within a legal context.
• Experience: 2+ years of working as an insurance adjuster or pre-litigation paralegal.
• Skills: Strong negotiating skills; excellent writing and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general database expertise; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines; typing speed no less than 35 wpm.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree; prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager.
