Case Manager II | Jason Stone Injury Lawyers

The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Jason Stone Injury Lawyers, located in the Boston, MA area. The firm is dedicated to providing peace of mind to injury victims, holding wrongdoers accountable, and protecting clients from being bullied by insurance companies. This crucial Case Manager role supports clients through their recovery journey, addressing emotional, physical, and financial injury-related challenges. Serving as the attorney’s right-hand, this individual plays a vital part in gathering compelling evidence and strategizing its presentation to secure favorable resolutions for clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Provide peace to clients by addressing their injury-related issues so they can focus on getting better.
• Documentation: Document client’s injury-related challenges to support their financial recovery.
• Evidence Management: Gather necessary evidence for attorneys to negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys.
• Advocacy & Writing: Compile and send compelling settlement demand packages to insurance companies and attorneys to advocate for clients.
• Litigation Support: Draft, file, and send litigation documents, including complaints, discovery demands, and motions.
• Trial Preparation: Prepare cases for trial, including assisting in the retention of expert witnesses.
• System Maintenance: Regularly update client and case information within Litify, our case management system.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completed Bachelor’s degree combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Experience: Demonstrated one year of experience specifically in drafting, filing, and sending various litigation documents. Proven capability to provide exceptional customer service over the phone, including compassionately gathering information and formulating effective plans of action to address client needs.
• Skills: Strong ability to gather, document, and strategically present evidence for negotiation and litigation. Proficient in legal writing for comprehensive settlement demand packages and formal litigation documents. Capable of working at a faster than average pace and thriving within a paperless office environment utilizing state-of-the-art case management systems like Litify.
