Supply Chain Career Development Program | Swagelok

The Tone:
This is a three-year rotational program at Swagelok, located in Northeast Ohio, USA (Solon, Strongsville, Eastlake, Highland Hills, or Willoughby). Swagelok is a global organization and a leader in industrial fluid systems, manufacturing high-quality products that serve industries requiring safe and efficient movement of liquids and gases. For over 75 years, their products have been used in diverse environments, from space to the ocean floor. This program is designed for recent graduates to gain diverse supply chain experience, contributing to the company’s continuous improvement and customer focus through hands-on rotational assignments.

• Mission: To develop recent graduates into future leaders or technical experts by providing diverse technical and business experiences across various supply chain functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotation Management: Adhere to position requirements as stated per the job description of the specific rotation assigned within the three-year program.
• Project Leadership: Lead and support small to mid-size projects and programs to contribute to business objectives and improvements.
• Process Improvement: Review and analyze best practices to determine, recommend, and implement next steps, including participation in LEAN/CEDAC and similar events.
• Business Acumen: Gain in-depth knowledge of key programs and policies that are critical to Swagelok’s business operations.
• Presentation: Present end-of-rotation summaries to key company leaders, demonstrating acquired knowledge and project outcomes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Analytics or a related field by May 2025. Career level: Entry-Level.
• Experience: Internship, co-op, or other relevant experience in a professional capacity. A minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Disciplined problem-solving, excellent communication, capable of managing projects, ability to analyze solutions and issues from various angles, intellectual curiosity.
• Bonus: Demonstrated leadership experience through campus activities, work experience, or community involvement; desire to lead others; ability to manage multiple priorities successfully in an organized way; flexibility to shifting priorities or new demands; openness to new ideas.
