About the Company: The Hershey Company, a leading confectionery company, offers this Capital PMO Co-op opportunity in Hershey, PA.
Job Description:
This full-time Co-op position within the Capital PMO team during Fall 2025 will involve working with a multi-million dollar capital budget. The role offers exposure to capital budget group owners across Hershey’s global facilities, including confectionery, salty snacks, and international manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Review and Analysis: Review and audit capital project submissions to ensure compliance with Hershey’s capital stage gating process. This involves assessing the quality of key deliverables.
• Data Management and Visualization: Utilize Alteryx to transform and manage data for a Capital Engineering Power BI dashboard. This dashboard will track capital expenditures, project approvals, resource demand, and year-over-year performance. Contribute to improving the overall Capital Engineering data management strategy, aiming for greater automation.
• Capital Planning and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for one or more ‘budget groups’ executing capital projects. Support the delivery of the current year’s capital plan and the creation of the following year’s plan.
• Stage Gate Governance: Assist in the weekly capital stage gate governance cycle. This includes setting meeting agendas, ensuring document compliance, administering meetings, and documenting follow-ups.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Pursuing a BS degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management; at least two years of coursework completed.
• Experience: Prior internships are preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); attention to detail; process-oriented; demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
