What You’ll Actually Do
• Mandate Generation: Participate in deal teams to develop, present, and win new mandates for business opportunities.
• Client Solutions: Create pitch books for clients with respect to financial solutions and participate in their presentation to clients.
• Portfolio Management: Directly manage a diverse portfolio of private and middle market companies, reviewing performance and progressing client responsibility.
• Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including client visits, business model analysis, and reviewing industry trends and related regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Create and update financial models to analyze client portfolios, anticipate client needs, and identify opportunities for diversification and cross-selling.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree with academic coursework in finance, economics, or accounting, demonstrating outstanding academic achievement.
• Experience: Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of investment banking or valuation experience at a financial analyst level.
• Skills: Exceptional quantitative analytics, financial modeling, and credit analysis skills, complemented by in-depth verbal & written communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: An MBA degree is preferred.
