Job Description: Capital Finance Internship
This is an in-person, paid internship located in the Orlando offices. The program runs approximately from September 2025 to December 2025. The application deadline is February 28th, 2025, at 11:55 PM ET.
Job Summary:
The internship provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, accounting, and project management within a large organization. Interns will work alongside the finance team, contributing to daily operations and supporting project managers with financial data. Exposure to financial planning and processes is a key component.
Major Responsibilities:
• Data entry and record keeping
• Assistance with budgeting and forecasting
• Meeting participation, note-taking, and report preparation for senior management
• Support in resolving invoice processing issues
• Contribution to internal audits, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements
• Support of project teams’ ad-hoc information requests (vendor contracts, invoice and budget queries)
• Adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities through established UO policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution.
• Junior-level standing or above is required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8. A transcript is required with the application.
• Preferred majors include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or similar fields.
• Preferred coursework completed: Financial Accounting, Reporting, Business Finance, or similar.
• Graduation date must be after December 2025.
• Interns must secure their own housing and transportation; Universal Orlando does not provide housing, but housing financial assistance may be available (details from recruiter).
