Job Description, Detailed
The Life.Church Campus Internship is a full-time, 6-month program designed for young adults (18 years or older by the application deadline of February 15, 2026) who are ready to immerse themselves in ministry. The internship starts in May 2026.
Purpose:
The primary goal of the internship is to help young adults develop spiritually, personally, and professionally. It offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable ministry experience, receive incredible 1-on-1 training from pastors, and contribute to building the Kingdom. It is specifically aimed at those interested in exploring vocational ministry.
Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:
• Hands-on Ministry Experience: Interns will engage directly in ministry work, contributing to the church’s mission.
• Personalized Training: Receive 1-on-1 training and development under experienced pastors.
• Spiritual, Personal, and Professional Growth: Development is fostered through book discussions, staff training events, and various ministry opportunities.
• Team Environment: Work collaboratively within a supportive team that encourages individual growth.
• Specialized Ministry Focus: Interns will choose an area of ministry to pursue their internship, allowing for specialized experience.
Ministry Areas Available:
• Host Team: Focuses on creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for attendees, from the parking lot to the auditorium, helping people feel at home and open to God’s Word.
• Community: Involves identifying and developing LifeGroup (small group) and Missions leaders, facilitating the formation and maintenance of LifeGroups, providing resources for spiritual growth, and mobilizing people for relief and restoration efforts.
• Youth: Dedicated to leading students in 6th-12th grade to become fully devoted followers of Christ through teaching God’s Word, cultural relevance, weekly experiences, small groups, and serving opportunities.
• LifeKids: The children’s ministry providing relevant, age-appropriate learning and connection opportunities for kids from birth to 5th grade, partnering with parents in raising children with a strong relationship with Christ.
• Operations: Coordinates campus tasks, projects, events, and communication. It involves leading volunteers for office work, events, and special projects, and supporting other teams in achieving their goals.
• Worship: Offers opportunities to grow in understanding band dynamics, worship environment production, ministry, and teamwork, all within an innovative worship environment with high standards of musical and technical excellence.
Compensation and Employment Status:
• Pay: Interns earn $13 hourly.
• Employment Status: Interns are considered full-time temporary employees of Life.Church.
