This role is crucial for providing interns with meaningful, hands-on experience that complements their ongoing college-level classroom education, contributing basic support to company operations and objectives.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Denver and Colorado Springs, CO
• Pay: $20–$26 hourly
• Team: Reports to a supervisor within a construction or administration-related function.
• Mission: Provide essential support for construction or administrative functions, gaining practical experience while helping achieve company objectives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Monitoring: Work with the project team to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity, and equipment.
• Reporting: Provide progress updates and reports to the project team.
• Site Observation: Conduct job site observations alongside project leadership.
• Project Close-Out: Support the close-out of projects, including the punchlist, operations and maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.
• Vendor Coordination: Support vendor and trade partner pricing, bid solicitation, and coordination efforts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position requiring enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program or higher, with coursework relevant to the internship opportunity.
• Experience: Not applicable; no prior experience is required for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and in deadline situations, leadership potential, and a strong work ethic.
