Job Description: CDW Campus Intern
CDW Campus Interns play a vital role in enhancing the technology footprint at their university while gaining valuable customer-facing experience. As a Campus Intern, you will act as a liaison between CDW, your university’s IT departments, and university administration, with the aim of maximizing the student technology experience. This is a year-round internship designed to fit around your academic schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison between the CDW Sales team, your University, and Fortune 500 technology partners.
• Network, build, and maintain relationships with existing customers across various departments on your campus.
• Research technology trends and identify opportunities for CDW to provide strategic value to the campus.
• Educate existing customers on the CDW partnership, highlighting the value and expertise offered to the University.
Growth Opportunities:
• Sharpen communication skills and gain hands-on exposure in the technology industry.
• Work directly with a dedicated Intern Program Manager and Sales team, receiving 4-weeks of paid training and ongoing mentorship.
• Participate in ongoing training opportunities, including job shadowing, LiveMeetings, webinars, online training modules, vendor-sponsored events, and regular conference calls.
Requirements:
• Must be a Sophomore or Junior enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University indicated in the job title.
• Possess effective problem-solving skills, analytical aptitude, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Demonstrate strong organization and time management skills to work in an independent environment.
• Exhibit the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization.
• Be available to work on campus for 15-25 hours/week within standard business hours, year-round (with temporarily decreased hours and 100% virtual work during Covid disruption).
• Must be authorized to work for CDW in the United States (immigration sponsorship is not available for this position).
Compensation:
• Hourly Compensation: $15.85
