Cabinetry Installation Associate | Ferguson

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ferguson, requiring travel across South Florida, specifically within Broward and West Palm Beach Counties. Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is dedicated to building better infrastructure, homes, and businesses by simplifying complex projects for customers. This role is crucial in ensuring the final quality and client satisfaction of our cabinetry projects. You will perform essential final punch-out tasks before client turnover, along with various miscellaneous punch work throughout the construction phase, contributing to Ferguson’s commitment to excellence and sustainability.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Location: South Florida (Broward and West Palm Beach Counties)
• Pay: $19.34–$29.00 hourly
• Mission: Ensure the final quality and client satisfaction of cabinetry projects through precise adjustments, touch-ups, and installations, along with managing service parts and warranty work.
• Tech Stack: Windows operating system, in-house system

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cabinetry Finishing: Perform final punch-out tasks before client turnover, including precise touch-ups, adjustments, and light installation of cabinet components, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Parts Logistics: Manage the efficient receiving, inventorying, and delivery of service and warranty parts to various job sites.
• System Management: Accurately update the in-house system with all receipts and fulfillments of parts, maintaining precise records.
• Warranty Service: Execute essential warranty punch and service work for closed homes to resolve post-closing issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Order Initiation: Proactively initiate orders for new service or warranty parts when necessary to support ongoing projects and repairs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Prior experience in the cabinet industry and carpentry.
• Experience: Proficiency in cabinet touch-up and repair techniques.
• Skills: Valid state-issued driver’s license; ability to operate a Non-CDL pickup truck under 10,000 lbs; effective use of hand tools; working knowledge of Windows operating system; strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to function effectively and independently.
