What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Independently apply electrical and electronic theory to develop, refurbish, and verify C5ISR systems.
• Engineer: Produce custom engineering solutions tailored to specific project needs and requirements.
• Document: Generate detailed technical documentation, including engineering reports, test plans, and training manuals.
• Train: Deliver curriculum-level training to field personnel, encompassing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on labs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must hold U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret (or higher) clearance at the time of application, with Top Secret / SCI eligibility. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, business, or computer-science/IT from an ABET/CAE accredited program. Alternatively, an associate degree combined with four years of relevant experience, or six years of relevant experience without a degree, will be considered.
• Experience: A minimum of three or more productive years performing journeyman-level electrical-engineering duties is required for this position.
• Skills: Proficiency is essential in reading, creating, and troubleshooting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layouts. The role also demands hands-on competence with bench-level test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers. Strong technical writing skills are needed for generating engineering reports, test plans, and training manuals, alongside experience in developing and delivering technical training modules and hands-on labs.
• Bonus: A Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant DoD certification is highly advantageous. Desired qualifications also include knowledge of DoD communication system requirements and relevant MIL-STD specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work autonomously while effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
