Job Description: Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) Intern

The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team at TikTok is focused on protecting users, safeguarding platform health, and ensuring authenticity in community experiences. The team works to minimize the impact of inauthentic behaviors across TikTok’s various platforms (TikTok, CapCut, Resso, Lark), focusing on areas like account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti-spam, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security, and financial safety (ads or e-commerce).

As a BRIC Intern, your responsibilities will include:

Strategy and Roadmap Development: Participating in defining the strategy and roadmap for TikTok’s risk control infrastructure.
User Advocacy: Acting as the voice of the user in designing risk platforms and tooling, gathering direct feedback from customers to shape the future of the platform.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other product teams to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the BRIC team’s planning.
Risk Control Development: Working with the risk control research and development (RD) team to build and improve systems for risk perception, identification, intervention, and governance effect measurement.
Product Design: Designing common risk control products and services that support various businesses within TikTok.
Platform Development: Collaborating with the engineering team to build the next iteration of TikTok’s risk control platform.

This internship program will provide you with:

This 12-week internship program begins in May/June 2025, with start dates:
