Business Risk Control and Regulatory Oversight Early Talent Program:
This program is designed for undergraduate students interested in gaining experience in the field of risk control and regulatory oversight. It encompasses five unique pathways, each offering opportunities for learning and development:
1. Control Management: Participants support one of the 15 Wells Fargo business divisions by working within Control Management to assess and mitigate operational risk. They gain experience in a variety of areas to build their career path.
2. Enterprise Complaints and Remediation (ECR): This pathway involves working with teams that help customers who have concerns or have been adversely impacted by operational breakdowns. Participants gain experience in customer service, risk and issue governance, and data analytics.
3. Regulatory and Policy Affairs (RAPA): This pathway focuses on ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Participants work on tasks related to regulatory relations, policy development, and reporting.
4. Risk Transformation and Execution: Participants work with the RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) tool to assess operational, compliance, and model risks. They gain experience in risk identification, control assessment, and governance.
5. Sales Practices and Conduct Management: This pathway involves investigating reports of possible employee misconduct and analyzing trends to help manage conduct-related issues. Participants learn about compliance, insider threats, and conflicts of interest.
Summer Internship Program:
The 10-week internship program provides participants with a comprehensive overview of Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. It includes:
• Relationship Building: Networking with colleagues and mentors.
• Relevant Work Assignments: Real-world projects and tasks related to the chosen pathway.
• Coaching: Guidance and feedback from experienced professionals.
• Performance Feedback Sessions: Opportunities for self-reflection and professional growth.
• Informative Learning Sessions: Workshops and presentations led by key leaders.
Job Description:
The internship is designed to provide a practical understanding of business risk control and regulatory oversight functions. Interns will:
• Participate in formal internship programs and workshops.
• Review assignments to familiarize themselves with policies and procedures related to low-to-medium risk tasks.
• Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Program Details:
• Date: Summer 2025.
• Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Locations: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; New York, NY; Phoenix, AZ; St. Louis, MO.
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of work experience or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and May/June 2026.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities (volunteerism, student organizations, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Technology, Communication, Accounting, Mathematics, Analytics, Physics, Political Science, Pre-law, Government, Policy and Management, Computer Science, Management and Risk Management, or a related business field.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Experience with data manipulation, reporting, visualization, and insights.
Job Expectations:
• Ability to travel 10% or more of the time.
