Job Description: Business Operations Intern
About the Role:
The Business Operations Intern will assist the Operations team in analyzing performance data, developing key analytics, creating dashboards, and generating insightful reports. This internship offers hands-on experience in workforce analytics, data visualization, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team to analyze performance data, trends, and key metrics.
• Assist in the design and creation of interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau and Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare dashboards and compile performance reports for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Support in maintaining and optimizing workforce planning and scheduling processes.
• Perform data quality checks and contribute to improving data integrity across systems.
• Identify and present opportunities for process improvements based on data insights.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to present findings and support project goals.
• Provide support for any ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:
• Education: Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4 year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• GPA: Overall GPA 3.0 or above.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus, strong communication skills, detail-oriented, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
• The job involves analyzing and interpreting data, communicating, and remaining in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day.
• Regular movement around the office and corporate campus.
• Ability to move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Travel Requirements:
• Minimal travel required (up to 10% of the time and on a domestic basis).
Location:
• Intern must reside in the Houston or surrounding areas during the internship.
