With over 60 beautiful communities spanning seven states in the Midwest, Edgewood offers a variety of senior living solutions, including assisted living and memory care at locations like Edgewood Aspen Wind. In this pivotal Business Office Director role, you will be entrusted with managing essential administrative and financial details that are crucial for the smooth operation of the community. Your contributions will directly ensure an excellent and supportive experience for both our valued residents and our dedicated staff members.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Support: Assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
• Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records in compliance with all policies.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee the clinical schedule in close collaboration with support staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
• Financial Processing: Perform all payroll and time clock functions accurately and in a timely manner for staff.
• Business Operations: Manage comprehensive accounts payable, accounts receivable, and resident billing processes.

• Background: This is a director-level position that requires strong organizational and administrative acumen.
• Experience: Candidates should possess prior experience in office management, demonstrating a proven ability to handle a variety of administrative and operational tasks efficiently within an office environment.
• Skills: Essential skills for this role include proficiency in payroll processing and time clock functions, comprehensive management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and accurate resident billing. Additionally, strong capabilities in maintaining meticulous employee personnel records, overseeing clinical schedules, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes are critical. Adherence to strict privacy regulations such as HIPAA and all company policies is also fundamental.
• Bonus: An Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desired and would provide a strong foundation for success. A genuine passion and drive for helping others, contributing positively to the community environment, is highly valued. A proactive desire to continue learning and continuously improving your skillset is also an important asset.
