What you’ll do:

• Immerse in Operational Learning: Gain comprehensive knowledge of the aggregates mining business through direct, real-world operational exposure, understanding the end-to-end process from extraction to delivery.
• Strategic Plant Support: Actively support plant management teams by contributing to crucial production planning initiatives, meticulously tracking cost control measures, and participating in detailed P&L (Profit & Loss) reviews to optimize financial performance.
• Present Key Performance Indicators: Develop and present comprehensive reports on production volumes and spending goals in weekly and monthly operational meetings, showcasing your analytical and presentation skills to management and cross-functional teams.
• Vendor and Inventory Management: Engage directly with vendors, assisting with procurement, relationship management, and ensuring efficient inventory control to meet operational demands and minimize waste.
• Operational Administration: Provide essential administrative support, including vital scale house operations suchibilities such as truck weighing, ticketing, data entry, and ensuring accurate record-keeping, which are critical to daily operations.
• Safety & Environmental Stewardship: Champion the company’s commitment to robust safety, environmental, and health standards, actively promoting a culture of compliance and responsible practices within a heavy industrial setting.
