Business Management Internship – Canada:

This internship offers hands-on experience working within Cargill’s Animal Nutrition business. Interns will be exposed to various challenging aspects of the business, including:

Strategic Pricing: Learn how Cargill determines pricing strategies to ensure profitability and meet customer needs.
Supply Chain: Gain insight into the complex logistics of getting animal feed from raw materials to customers.
Commodity Merchandising: Understand the process of buying and selling agricultural commodities.
Feed Formulation: Develop a deep understanding of how to create balanced and nutritious feed for different livestock.
Sourcing: Learn how Cargill sources raw materials for animal feed in a sustainable way.
Data and Business Analytics: Utilize data to analyze business trends, identify opportunities, and improve decision-making.

After a successful internship, potential career paths include:

Relocation is possible based on the availability of openings at Cargill’s various locations across Canada.

Your Work:

In addition to daily responsibilities, a significant project will be assigned at the start of the internship. This project will expose you to various work and cross-functional teams. You may be accountable or share accountability for:

• Strategic Pricing
• Supply Chain Strategy & Execution
• Feed Formulation
• Commodity Merchandising, Trading, Risk Management, and Sourcing
• Data and Business Analytics
• Business Financials
• Employee Engagement
• Plant Operations
• Customers and Business Culture

Internship Details:

Duration: 16 weeks
Compensation: Hourly wage
Transportation: Interns are responsible for their transportation to and from work.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or diploma from an accredited program in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, business analytics, animal science, economics, ag-economics, leadership studies, or a related field.
• Graduation date between December 2025 and August 2027.
• Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Geographically flexible and willing to relocate for an internship opportunity anywhere in Canada.
• Ability to complete a 16-week internship during the summer (May – August 2025).
• Strong initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.
• Legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Geographically flexible and willing to relocate.
• Previous experience in agriculture, supply chain, sales, finance, or business analytics.
