Job Description: Business Management Associate
This is an entry-level position for a functional expert within Cargill’s Animal Nutrition business. The role is part of an intensive 12-18 month training program focused on one of the following core functions:
• Strategic Pricing: Developing and implementing pricing strategies.
• Supply Chain Strategy & Execution: Managing and optimizing the flow of goods and services.
• Feed Formulation: Creating animal feed recipes that meet nutritional needs.
• Commodity Merchandising, Trading, Risk Management, and Sourcing: Buying, selling, and managing risk associated with commodities.
• Data and Business Analytics: Analyzing data to support business decision-making.
The program will cover both strategic and tactical business concepts. Associates will be evaluated on technical skills, business acumen, and leadership potential. Successful completion leads to a role within one of the core functions, potentially progressing to individual contributor or supervisory positions.

Qualifications:
• Required:
• Legal right to work in the U.S. (not based on a student or third-party sponsored visa).
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (graduating between December 2024 and August 2025) in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, ag economics, business analytics, animal science, or a related field.
• Willingness and ability to relocate.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and cultures.
• Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated through collaboration, creativity, and determination.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and handle details.
• Willingness to take calculated risks and make decisive actions.
• Ability to contribute effectively both individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Preferred:
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Salary: $70,000 (Note: This is not adjusted for geographic differentials).

Job Locations: Various U.S. locations (including, but not limited to, Kansas City, KS; Amarillo, TX; Shippensburg, PA; Minneapolis, MN). The role will primarily be office-based, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements and approximately 10% or less travel.
