Job Description: Business Intern

The Cary Company seeks a Business Intern to support its Addison, IL headquarters. This is a full-time or part-time, on-site internship lasting 3 to 6 months (undergraduate or paid post-graduate). The intern will be assigned to one of several departments based on need, including: Marketing, Sales, Customer Relations, Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or Purchasing.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the assigned department with various projects and duties.
• Problem-solving to find creative solutions for customer needs.
• Gaining comprehensive knowledge of Cary Company products to effectively market, up-sell, and assist customers.
• Providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating professionalism.
• Participating in department and company culture meetings.
• Contributing to company charitable efforts (optional).
• Working hard and having fun, including participation in “Fun Fridays” and other company events.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (in progress or recent graduate).
• Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Alignment with company values: positive/optimistic, open-minded, curious, customer-focused, and supportive of coworkers.

The internship may lead to a full-time position. Interns will receive regular check-ins from HR and their department leader. The company encourages employee involvement through various committees, such as the Culture Committee and Cary Cares.
