About the Role
This Business Development & Marketing Intern role at NovaRize.ai is focused on driving a 4–6 week growth sprint for the boutique AI consulting firm. It’s a results-driven opportunity to own outreach to financial services decision-makers, build the prospect pipeline, and create content, operating as part of a lean, fast, AI-native team with direct access to the founder.

What You’ll Do
• Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and engage C-suite and senior technology decision-makers at small-to-midsize financial services firms (primarily tri-state area, open to national)
• Build and manage a qualified prospect pipeline in HubSpot CRM — from initial outreach through meeting booked
• Draft and send personalized LinkedIn messages and email outreach sequences on behalf of NovaRize
• Create and schedule short-form LinkedIn content (posts, articles, insights) for the NovaRize company page
• Track outreach metrics and report on pipeline activity weekly

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or MBA degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field (strong community college candidates welcome)
• Are comfortable with outbound outreach and not afraid to message a stranger on LinkedIn with a smart, personalized note
• Are familiar with (or eager to quickly learn) HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and content creation tools
• Have strong written communication and can write a compelling 3-sentence message
• Are organized, self-directed, and motivated by results over hours logged

Bonus Qualifications
• Interest in financial services and/or AI is a plus

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Job Type: Internship / Contract
• Location: Norwalk, CT (Remote/Hybrid)
• Duration: 4–6 weeks (potential to extend based on performance)
• Compensation: $20/hr base pay (10–20 hrs/week, flexible scheduling, potential for more hours)
• Performance bonus: $100 per qualified meeting booked with a verified decision-maker (Top performers who book 10+ meetings could earn $1,000+ in bonuses on top of base pay)
• Provides LinkedIn Sales Navigator license, HubSpot CRM access, Claude AI subscription, Gamma (presentation/content tool), and Professional Gmail
• Direct mentorship from the founder with real exposure to AI consulting, financial services, and startup operations
