Job Description
This role is for a Business Development Intern at CertiK, offered as a 3-month internship, available on a part-time or full-time basis.
About The Role:
The internship is designed for individuals passionate about Web3, blockchain, and emerging technologies, who are eager to gain practical experience within a dynamic, high-growth environment. Interns will work closely with the Business Development (BD) team to support go-to-market initiatives, conduct research on market opportunities, and contribute to driving strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and qualifying new business leads within the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem.
• Market Research: Conduct thorough market research on competitors, industry trends, and potential clients to inform strategy.
• Partnership Support: Support the team in partnership outreach efforts, which includes initial contact and subsequent follow-ups.
• Content Preparation: Help prepare essential business development materials such as pitch decks, client reports, and meeting summaries.
• Data Management: Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools with accurate lead and partnership data.
• Industry Monitoring: Monitor industry news and provide concise summaries relevant to the overall BD strategy.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively across different departments, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure alignment of messaging and BD goals.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a closely related field.
• Interest: Demonstrated strong interest in blockchain, Web3, or emerging technology markets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
• Analytical Ability: Possess an analytical mindset, with the capacity to research and synthesize complex data effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Commitment: Ability to commit to the 3-month internship duration, either part-time or full-time.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Experience: Previous experience or coursework related to business development, consulting, or working within tech startups.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Familiarity with various blockchain projects, understanding of tokenomics, and engagement with Web3 communities.
• Language Skills: Multilingual abilities are welcomed.
• Crypto Passion: Demonstrated passion for the crypto ecosystem, evidenced through personal projects, writing, or active community involvement.
Compensation:
For roles performed in the US, the target monthly compensation for this internship ranges from $3,000 to $5,500. The final compensation will be determined based on the skills and experience of the qualified candidate.
