Job Description: Business Development Intern

Ready to dive into the dynamic world of international travel marketing? WildChina is seeking a driven Business Development Intern to support our North America growth strategy — an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in market research, client engagement, and campaign execution for a leader in cultural travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Market insights and research
• Assist in researching North American travel trends, competitor strategies, and potential client segments (e.g., luxury travel agencies, cultural institutions, and eco-conscious brands).
• Collect and analyze data to identify growth opportunities and contribute actionable recommendations to the leadership team.

Client engagement support
• Support outreach to potential clients via email and phone calls.
• Prepare meeting materials and assist with presentation design.
• Help manage client communications, ensuring timely responses and smooth follow-ups.

Event and campaign coordination
• Assist in organizing industry events, webinars, and workshops — from logistics coordination to content creation.
• Contribute to social media and email marketing campaigns to enhance WildChina’s brand presence in the North American market.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business, marketing, hospitality, communications, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), with strong written communication and messaging skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, HubSpot, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark). Experience with CRM platforms is a plus.
• Strong interest in travel, Chinese culture, and sustainable tourism.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A collaborative team player, comfortable working across time zones with US and China-based teams.
