Job Description:

SpotHopper is seeking a Business Development Intern (BDI) to join their team. This is initially an 8-10 week extended training period, with the intention of transitioning into a full Business Development Representative (BDR) role upon successful completion.

As a BDI/BDR, you will be on the front lines, connecting with potential clients (bar and restaurant owners) to introduce them to the SpotHopper platform. You will be responsible for:

• Reaching out to bar and restaurant owners across the US to discuss their needs and SpotHopper’s solutions.
• Working with an Account Executive to identify and prospect top restaurant leads.
• Gaining hands-on sales experience through direct customer interaction.
• Receiving mentorship from experienced Account Executives.
• Acquiring knowledge of the operations of a successful tech and marketing startup.
• Researching restaurants across the US to identify potential clients who would benefit from SpotHopper’s services.

Key Responsibilities of BDI (same as BDR, during the training):

• Performing all the same job duties as a full BDR but at a reduced rate during the training period. This allows for a comprehensive learning experience regarding the role and the SpotHopper product.
