They work with over 15,000 restaurants and are building the next generation of marketing software for the food industry.

Job Description:

SpotHopper is hiring Business Development Interns (BDI) for both part-time and full-time positions. This role begins with an 8-10 week extended training period, after which successful interns will transition to a full Business Development Representative (BDR) role. BDIs and BDRs are often the first point of contact with potential clients, making strong organizational and communication skills essential. They are looking for individuals with a positive, outgoing, energetic attitude, and a growth mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Reach out to bar and restaurant owners across the US to discuss the SpotHopper platform and their business needs.
• Work closely with Account Executives to identify and prospect top restaurant leads nationwide.
• Gain practical sales experience through direct customer interaction.
• Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced Account Executives.
• Develop valuable knowledge of a successful tech and marketing startup’s inner workings.
• Research restaurants in various markets to identify potential clients who would benefit most from SpotHopper’s solutions.
• BDIs perform all the same job duties as a full BDR, but at a reduced rate during the training period to allow for learning the role and product.

Compensation and Benefits:

Part-time or Full-time: Flexible hours, Monday-Friday (minimum 15, maximum 40 hours per week).
Intern (BDI): $20 per hour base + an average of $5 in commission per hour.
Representative (BDR – after internship): $22 per hour base + an average of $5 in commission per hour.
Progression Path: Opportunities for base raises, commission structure changes, and new titles as you develop.
