Role Description

This is a full-time, remote opportunity for a Business Development Intern. As an integral part of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in various facets of business development. Every intern will play a crucial role in expanding Verda’s client base and supporting existing relationships.

  • Assist with lead generation activities to identify potential businesses and individuals who could benefit from Verda’s innovative solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in the AI search behavior analysis space.
  • Execute customer outreach initiatives, engaging with potential leads through various communication channels to introduce Verda’s value proposition.
  • Help in building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for continued partnership.
  • Support customer service initiatives, providing timely assistance and contributing to a positive client experience.
  • Actively gather and report product feedback to our development teams, contributing directly to the evolution and improvement of Verda’s tools.
  • Contribute to the creation of compelling case studies, showcasing client success stories and the measurable impact of Verda’s offerings.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Economics, or a relevant analytical field.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, demonstrated by an ability to understand complex market trends, interpret data, and assess new business opportunities effectively.
  • Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport, engaging with clients, and collaborating within a remote team.
  • Some prior experience or a strong aptitude in lead generation and market research is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new challenges, work independently with minimal supervision, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with using CRM tools (Customer Relationship Management) or other relevant business development software is a significant plus.
  • Able to work synchronously for 30-40 hours a week during the Summer 2026 period (specifically June – July).
