Job Description

This role is an Assistant position supporting the Business Development & External Affairs team.

SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Business Development & External Affairs team with daily tasks and projects, addressing the diverse needs of the department. The assistant will be involved in various areas including communications, social media management, event coordination, marketing, and other special projects.

Duties And Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role are extensive and multi-faceted, including:
Media and Communications Management: Assisting in monitoring and compiling weekly press clippings, press releases, and media recap reports for Patriot Place, The Kraft Group, Partners in Patriotism Fund, and all external events held at Gillette Stadium. This also involves crafting department communications and maintaining media distribution lists.
Newsletter and Content Creation: Assisting with the overall creation and editing of the quarterly Partners in Patriotism newsletter and related content.
Customer Service and Community Engagement: Monitoring and assisting in responding to emails for Customer Service, the PIP Fund, and the Foxboro Resident inbox. The role also involves proactive identification of opportunities for Foxborough community involvement, assisting in planning Foxborough Season Ticket Member Forums, and supporting other community events.
Administrative Support: Assisting with notetaking and distribution of notes to relevant parties for PIP Fund and department meetings, among others.
PIP Fund Management: General assistance with the Partners in Patriotism Fund, including drafting letters and editing newsletters.
Local Deliveries and Logistics: Handling all town-based drop-offs such as licensing documents at town hall, Noteworthy Neighbor fulfillment, resident parking passes, and PIP newsletters.
Social Media Contribution: Contributing to Gillette Stadium’s social media channels by monitoring trends and commentary, assisting in promotional fulfillment, creating giveaway sweepstakes rules, and fulfilling prize packages.
Photo Management: Owning the photo management process, which includes retrieving photos from event photographers and collaborating with an internal photo coordinator for tagging and uploading into the Photoshelter system.
Concert and Event Support: Assisting the Business Development and External Affairs team with concert-related needs, encompassing marketing, on-site activations, and various other event responsibilities.
Special Projects: Undertaking special projects and assignments as dictated by business needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Candidates for this role should possess:

Self-Motivation & Project Management: A motivated self-starter with excellent project management skills.
Organization & Detail Orientation: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Availability: Ability to work nights and weekends to support business needs.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and PowerPoint. Experience with other software capabilities is a plus.
Communication & Business Acumen: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence others.
Customer Service: Customer-service oriented with a fan-friendly attitude and professional appearance at all times.
Photography: Experience in photography is considered a plus.
