What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Data: Independently deliver moderate to more complex analyses and reports, using large datasets and standard tools to solve business problems.
• Communicate Insights: Lead conversations with business partners, effectively communicating key points and insights to respective stakeholders.
• Visualize Information: Develop and deliver presentations, tools, and visualizations that include the right data and “tell the right story” to business partners.
• Anticipate Needs: Identify and anticipate business needs, understand how to obtain information, and ensure solutions are appropriately documented with ongoing validation.
• Mentor Staff: Review the work product of junior staff, providing input, direction, and mentorship within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, MIS, analytics/data science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant financial services experience.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Google Cloud for data manipulation and analysis; Expertise in designing and creating compelling dashboards and reports to tell visual stories; Strong ability to access and interpret data from enterprise data warehouses and supply chains; Delivers clear, persuasive communication tailored to various stakeholders; Applies structured thinking to complex problems, anticipating risks and integrating cross-functional perspectives.
• Bonus: Experience in the banking industry with a strong understanding of key drivers of financial results; Experience in reviewing work, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to a collaborative team environment; Familiarity with Agile development practices, including iterative development and continuous feedback loops.
