This internship within the Strategic Enablement Office plays a crucial role in supporting Project & Portfolio Management and Client Engagement by enhancing workflow efficiency and optimizing service delivery through AI and automation solutions.

• Mission: This role aims to improve workflow efficiency, data quality, and service delivery by supporting project and portfolio management, client engagement, and implementing AI and automation solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Alignment: Assist in connecting with business technology leaders to ensure Hearst Technology Services (HTS) align with Hearst’s broader business goals and priorities.
• Meeting Support: Aid in preparing for critical client and project meetings by drafting agendas, compiling briefing materials, taking comprehensive notes, and managing follow-up actions.
• Request Management: Track client requests, identify recurring themes, record key decisions, and maintain simple intake and status views for transparency across all client interactions.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare insightful dashboards and summaries that effectively highlight project delivery health, trends, potential risks, and cross-portfolio themes.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement AI and automation solutions to streamline portfolio reporting, project management processes, and data governance activities.

• Background: An individual pursuing an internship with an interest in business analysis, project management, and client engagement.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is explicitly required; this role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas like portfolio management, governance, and process improvement.
• Skills: Foundational organizational skills for meeting preparation and documentation, attention to detail for data quality, and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements, including AI and automation solutions.
