Job Title: BTS Intern

Job Summary:
The BTS (Business Technology Solutions) Interns at Citrin Cooperman will be responsible for implementing solutions for clients using Workiva’s cloud-based information management platform. The primary goal is to modernize and simplify complex client work related to compliance, risk management, financial reporting, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) processes. Interns will work on understanding client needs, designing solutions, configuring the platform, and providing support and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis:
• Actively participate in collaborative meetings and working sessions to gain a deep understanding of clients’ business and technical requirements.
• Analyze gathered requirements to identify the most effective use of Workiva’s solutions for streamlining financial reporting, risk and compliance, and ESG processes.
• Design scalable, flexible, and resilient architectural solutions that address specific client business challenges and accelerate the adoption of Workiva’s software platform.
Client Service & Relationship Management:
• Provide exceptional service to clients, consistently representing Citrin Cooperman as a positive brand ambassador.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, clients, and internal Citrin Cooperman teams.
Solution Development & Implementation:
• Assist in the development of technical standards, work plans, project estimates, requirement analyses, risk management plans, and technology life-cycle documentation.
• Configure various modules within the Workiva platform according to client specifications.
• Perform data migration tasks, moving data from legacy systems to current business solutions within the Workiva platform.
Testing, Support & Training:
• Conduct system testing and provide support for issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot and provide ongoing support for Workiva solutions.
• Assist clients with the adoption of the Workiva platform through enablement training sessions and testing support.
Project Management & Collaboration:
• Complete assigned project tasks on time and within budget.
• Provide regular project status updates to the Manager.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Be receptive to mentoring and professional guidance.

Qualifications:

Academic Standing:
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the time of application and throughout the internship program.
• Currently enrolled as a student preparing to graduate in December 2025 or May 2026.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Travel:
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally to client sites if required.
