Description: Breakthrough Lab Manager

This is an in-office position based in Deloitte’s Chicago office. You will be joining the Breakthrough Experience team at The Deloitte Greenhouse®, a program designed to help executive teams overcome their most critical challenges through immersive, innovative, and impactful experiences.

As a Breakthrough Lab Manager, your key responsibilities include:

• Lab Design:
• Drive the lab design process from start to finish.
• Draft initial design documents and lead feedback sessions with Greenhouse and Deloitte teams.
• Oversee content curation and creation, review lab materials, and conduct pre-lab interviews.
• Passion for creating unique and dynamic experiences for clients and account teams is a must.
• Lab Delivery:
• Manage day-of delivery, including live synthesis of key insights.
• Identify opportunities for in-session design or delivery changes.
• Lead breakout groups and facilitate lab modules.
• Strong executive presence and ability to operate in ambiguity are crucial.
• People Leadership:
• Mentor and apprentice lab producers and junior staff.
• Provide both formal and informal instruction, direction, and feedback.
• Thrive on team-centered leadership and enjoy coaching and mentoring others.
• Project Management:
• Own project management for assigned labs, including setting, communicating, and tracking milestones.
• Proactively identify risks and lead meetings with Greenhouse and Deloitte teams.
• Manage the relationship with Deloitte account teams and support the lab lead in managing client relationships.
• Strong project management skills, stakeholder management skills, and attention to detail are essential.
• Greenhouse Program Support:
• Support national or local special projects and test creative approaches that could be leveraged in the Deloitte Greenhouse® portfolio.
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment and enjoy challenging the status quo.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 6-8 years’ work experience, including at least 2-3 years serving Deloitte clients.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to synthesize discussions and steer abstract dialogue into actionable themes.
• Excellent presence, strong writing, and oral presentation skills.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to travel up to 30%, on average.

Preferred Currently pursuings:

• Advanced Degree
• Interest and experience with analytical methods and tools, including data visualization.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $97,600 to $200,600, and you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program.
