The Tone:

This position is vital for supporting overall manufacturing operations, contributing to the fabrication and assembly of OEM equipment. The role ensures the quality and functionality of units by performing precise brazing, mechanical and electrical assembly, and comprehensive refrigeration system work, adhering to AS9100 compliance.

• Tech Stack: Tube cutters/benders, files, tube reamers, pressure regulators, brazing techniques, vacuum pumps, refrigerant charging, AS9100 compliance standards.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Brazing: Braze sub-assemblies and install them into larger units following specified procedures.
• Assembly: Assemble components and sub-assemblies, then integrate them into complete units.
• Piping: Lay out and prepare piping routes within units, ensuring structural security, and performing necessary cuts and preparations.
• Installation: Install refrigeration components such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, motors, blowers, and pumps, connecting all required piping and tubing.
• System Testing: Perform pressure tests, evacuate, and charge refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be “EPA 608 Universal” certified, possess an HS Diploma, and have a machine shop background, along with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and installation of refrigeration and heating systems.
• Experience: Requires 3+ years of brazing assembly experience and 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience or a related degree; refrigeration experience is preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in using hand and power tools including tube cutters/benders, files, tube reamers, pressure regulators, vacuum pumps, and capable of refrigerant charging, alongside reading and interpreting complex diagrams and schematics, and exercising sound decision-making and judgment.
• Bonus: Certification to AWS B2.2/2.2M is a plus, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply if trainable and willing to learn.
