Job Summary:
This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the Brand Director across all facets of brand development and the launch of new products.

Job Responsibilities:

Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct comprehensive research on industry competitors, analyzing their products, marketing strategies, and market positioning.
• Develop detailed reports, including SWOT analyses (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) for competitors.
• Present findings to the marketing team to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.
Market/Brand Deck Preparation:
• Assist in creating and updating market and brand decks for both internal and external presentations.
• Gather and organize relevant data, images, and content to ensure decks are comprehensive and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to maintain consistency with brand guidelines and messaging.
Trend Analysis:
• Monitor and report on current and emerging market trends, consumer behavior, and industry innovations.
• Identify opportunities for new product development and marketing strategies based on trend insights.
• Provide recommendations to the marketing team to ensure the company stays ahead of market trends.
Creative Request Form Management:
• Ensure all creative briefs are clear, detailed, and aligned with brand objectives.
• Coordinate with the creative team to prioritize and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Manufacturing Request Form Management:
• Oversee the submission and tracking of manufacturing requests to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Liaise with the manufacturing team to communicate requirements and resolve any emerging issues.
• Participate in status meetings and document minutes detailing next steps.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing, Communication, or Business is preferred.
Experience: Experience working in the beauty industry is a significant plus.
Skills:
• Strong analytic skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within and across different functions.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly across multiple mediums, both traditional and non-traditional.
Command of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is a MUST.

Work Arrangement:

• This is a hybrid position.
• Requires 2 days in office in NYC and 3 days remote.
