Bookkeeper | Team Stradale

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Team Stradale, located in Joliet, IL. Team Stradale is a multi-faceted business that operates a race car autoshop, sells parts, and builds custom race cars. This Bookkeeper position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records across three distinct business divisions, ensuring efficient AR/AP, payroll, and overall financial health.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations: Manage daily financial registers, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate QuickBooks entries across multiple business entities and for intercompany transactions.
• Accounts & Payments: Process all client invoices and vendor payments, including wires, checks, ACH, and credit cards, actively collecting on accounts receivable and managing cash flow.
• Payroll & Benefits: Coordinate and process employee payroll using Paylocity, track PTO balances, and ensure accuracy of health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan administration.
• Financial Reporting & Support: Prepare and post invoices from the MSA system, assist with financial audits and journal entries, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations experience of 3+ years.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations; strong proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Excel for spreadsheets, formulas, and categorization.
• Skills: Problem-solving, critical thinking, clear communication, high organization, excellent time management, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Bonus: Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions; experience with international currencies and exchange rates (GBP/EUR); experience completing payroll, especially with Paylocity.
