What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Record day-to-day financial transactions and post journal entries to accurately maintain financial records and ledgers.
• Reconcile: Verify and reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Report: Prepare basic financial reports and actively support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Track: Utilize accounting software to efficiently track income and expenses, and verify all necessary financial documentation.
• Support: Respond to internal and client inquiries, assist with audits and tax preparation, and collaborate with team members on overall financial operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with foundational knowledge in accounting and finance principles.
• Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, demonstrating proficiency in managing financial records and using spreadsheet tools.
• Skills: Bookkeeping, Journal Entries (Accounting), Financial Statements, Accounting Software, Microsoft Excel.
• Bonus: Formal training or coursework in accounting or finance.
