This includes collaborating closely with the broader Blackstone team to ensure a highly personalized, efficient, and seamless recruitment and selection experience for all law student candidates. Your leadership will be crucial in integrating recruitment efforts across various channels, ensuring an effective and inclusive approach to attracting top talent, while also meticulously overseeing the day-to-day operational excellence of the entire recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

This includes strategically assigning interviewers, setting critical timelines, and personally conducting direct candidate interviews to thoroughly assess mission fit, evaluate character, and identify leadership potential among prospective law students.
  • Strategic Recruitment Plan Design: Provide crucial strategic and operational leadership for all law student recruitment efforts. This involves designing, refining, and continuously optimizing a comprehensive, data-driven, and mission-aligned recruitment strategy that attracts top legal talent aligned with ADF’s values.
  • Team Supervision and Development: Supervise, mentor, and foster the professional development of the Blackstone recruitment team. You will be responsible for establishing clear priorities, setting accountability standards, defining performance metrics, and cultivating a high-performing, collaborative, and mission-focused team culture.
  • National Recruitment Initiative Oversight: Set the strategic direction and provide direct oversight for high-volume, national recruitment initiatives. This encompasses managing outreach across diverse formats, including in-person events, virtual engagements, and hybrid models, ensuring operational excellence, resource stewardship, and maximum impact.
  • Multi-Channel Recruitment Guidance: Strategically guide recruitment efforts across a wide array of diverse channels. This includes engaging with law schools, collaborating with student organizations, and leveraging partner networks, while continuously adapting strategies based on insightful data analysis and emerging recruitment opportunities.
  • Recruitment Systems and Infrastructure Management: Oversee and optimize all recruitment systems, tools, and underlying infrastructure. Your focus will be on ensuring impeccable data integrity, streamlining efficient workflows, and facilitating timely and accurate reporting to inform strategic decisions.

You will provide critical insights on key metrics such as yield rates, conversion ratios, outreach diversity, institutional engagement levels, and overall candidate experience to continually refine and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • External Relations and Representation: Build and maintain robust relationships with key contacts at law schools and student organizations. You will represent Blackstone during essential fall recruitment travel, and directly oversee all related student programming and external recruitment communications.

Minimum Qualifications:
